Please join in the innovative Living Life Dying Death project by hosting a Gathering. A Gathering is when you invite family, friends and acquaintances to share their stories, experiences, beliefs, thoughts and questions about death and dying.
A comfortable, non-judgmental, social atmosphere is created in a brief welcome and introduction. The host or facilitator then asks their guests to pair up with a companion, who then take turns answering the questions about death, dying, but also living life fully. Participants select a new companion with each new question. Within minutes the room is filled with insights, laughter, tears, and questions. It is difficult to “wrap up” the conversations as people begin to see how these experiences and ideas shape their lives. At the end of five questions the Gathering comes together, and in a fun “shout out” fashion the attendees create two “Top Ten Lists” about life and death.
